Job Description
The Lead Software Engineer – SAP TM Functional role focuses on leading SAP Transportation Management implementations and supporting enterprise transportation processes. The position requires strong functional expertise in SAP TM configuration, integration, and transportation planning across multiple freight modes.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support SAP TM implementations and upgrades
• Configure SAP TM modules including Master Data, Freight Units, Freight Orders, and Settlement
• Manage inbound, outbound, and domestic transportation processes
• Execute transportation planning, carrier selection, and freight tendering
• Integrate SAP TM with SAP ERP, EWM, SD, MM, and legacy systems
• Provide end-user training and support
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP TM functional issues
• Document configurations and enhancements
Technical Expertise Required
• Strong hands-on SAP TM configuration experience
• Knowledge of transportation capacity and demand planning
